Parts Returns Policy
This policy is correct as of 6th December 2024.
Return of Damaged Goods
If goods are damaged in transit you must report this within 48 hours of receiving the goods, a member of our team will then contact you to discuss options. It is also recommended if the parcel(s) are clearly damaged on receipt it is advisable to sign for as 'damaged' or refuse delivery.
Return of Faulty Goods
New items are supplied with a 12 month manufacturer's warranty, in the rare event of a faulty item we may repair, replace or refund as applicable.
Return of Goods Sent In Error
From time to time goods are sent in error, if you believe you have received the incorrect item, or items that you did not order, please contact a member of our team and they will arrange a collection.
Return of Special Orders and Second Hand Goods
Refunds will not be given on any made-to-order, bespoke or special order items unless faulty.
Return of Unwanted / Not Required
You may return unwanted goods at your own expense providing they are complete and in pristine unused re-saleable condition within 14 days of purchase except in the case of special orders, bespoke products or second-hand goods. Some other items may be non-returnable if this applies you will be notified upon ordering. If you purchased goods on promotion, any discounts or special offers relating to the returned item(s) will be null and void and you will be required to pay any extra due.
Conditions of Returning Goods
When returning goods for any reason, you must;
- ensure all items are adequately packed,
- have obtained permission from Weaving Machinery to return them,
- be able to demonstrate proof of purchase.
The Weaving Machinery Return Form must be filled in correctly and completely, and the Return Form must be included in the return shipment in order for returned items to be processed and credited. Customers who do not complete the form correctly or do not send a return form with their items may be subject to a £10 admin fee.
For unwanted goods and goods not required, the customer must arrange and pay for the return shipment and will bear the risk of damage to the products during the return shipment.
All returned products must be:
- properly packed and secured for a return shipment
- in a mint and resalable condition
- in an undamaged, unused condition and in original packaging which is unopened. Under no circumstances can products be returned that have;
- already been assembled
- an expiration date of which the period of time is 3 months or shorter on the date that Weaving Machinery receives the returned product
- been specially ordered for the customer or are special assembly kit items
- been mixed with other products or separated from a complete set of products
- been cut, such as cut hoses or chains, only whole rolls are eligible for return.
Weaving Machinery has the right to refuse to accept any products which are returned when these conditions are not complied with. If the conditions are not met, Weaving Machinery may decide to ship the products back to a customer at the customer's expense, a handling fee of £10.00 will be applied to the customer’s account to cover the admin.
If Weaving Machinery decides to keep the products the customer shall be deemed to have waived his rights to get the products back and Weaving Machinery may deal with the products as it pleases, e.g., scrap them or resell them and keep the proceeds.
Refunds
Products returned in adherence with this policy and within 30 days of delivery will not incur any extra charges. For products returned between 31 and 60 days after the delivery date to a customer, a charge of 25% of the purchase price shall apply.
A purchase cannot be cancelled (a product cannot be returned) after a period of 60 days after a product was delivered to a customer.
Refunds for the returned products shall be made by Weaving Machinery within 30 days of receipt of returned items, after Weaving Machinery has received the returned products, and concluded that the applicable conditions and instructions are met.
