Chain Harrows
Designed with effectiveness in mind, our chain harrows are the perfect solution for land owners looking to enhance the quality of their grassland. They are constructed using high quality materials to ensure longevity of the harrows. These harrows level, loosen and aerate the soil whilst removing old thatch which promotes healthy growth resulting in greener, thicker pastures.
Standard Specification
Heavy duty angle steel construction. Double levelling bars to spread & level mole hills, manure etc. Cast steel harrow sections with ring joints to give exceptionally long life. 3 Rows of harrow sections on 2 & 3 Metre models and 4 Rows on all hydraulic folding models. Models over 3M fold to narrow transport width.
Key Features
Chain Mat
Non folding models feature 3 rows of cast steel harrows with ring joints compared to larger folding models that have 4. The ring joints allow the mat to follow the undulations of the ground making sure to not miss any grass across the width of the harrow.
Heavy Duty Frame
The chain harrows are available in non-hydraulic folding (2m & 3m) and hydraulic folding (4m, 5m &6m) models. Constructed of heavy-duty angle steel, the folding models feature a slightly increased headstock and frame size. Infilled double levelling bars run in front of the mat to level undulations, mole hills and material across the whole width.
Over Centre Fold
A central hydraulic cylinder operates the folding function and brings both wings over centre for safe transport (on models wider than 3m).
