A well-presented 2013 Vredo DZ229.075 Agri direct disc drill, designed specifically for accurate and efficient overseeding of established grassland. An ideal machine for livestock farms, dairy units and contractors looking to rejuvenate tired or open swards without the cost and disruption of full grassland reseeding.

The Vredo twin-disc system opens a narrow slot in the existing sward, placing the seed directly into the soil where it has access to moisture and is protected from birds and surface drying. The individual spring-mounted disc elements follow ground contours closely, helping to maintain consistent seed placement across undulating ground while keeping surface disturbance to a minimum. Vredo uses a 7.5cm sowing spacing, giving close seed distribution across the full working width and helping to produce an even, dense grass sward.

Seed is carried in a 290-litre hopper and distributed pneumatically to the coulters, with a hydraulically driven fan providing reliable seed distribution across the width of the machine. The DZ229.075 has an approximately 2.85m working width, making it a productive yet compact machine for both farm and contracting work.
